Australia Trove

Australia Trove

I've only just found this (oi, Jayne! Have you been holding out on me??)

You may think it odd why I'm adding an Aussie historical search site to my Kiwi history blog -- but, let's face it: Australian and New Zealand history are very closely linked, and anything that could make finding out what really happened way back when has my support.

And yes, this is going on the links list.

  1. Ah, it has been given a name, a catchy one at that. I just hope they keep on loading things onto the online site.

  3. I still find the direct link to the Aussie newspaper archive the best, though -- the Trove site has its little "moments". The direct link is what I use most.

I see some of the 20th century Sydney Morning Heralds have been digitised elsewhere. Roll on the day when they're added to the collection!
