The Making of Albert-Eden video

The end product of a project I was involved with for the Albert-Eden Local Board during Auckland Heritage Festival 2012.

  1. Well made and interesting, especially with a map open so that the mentioned streets can traced.

  2. This is very interesting and thank you for putting so much effort into making this. Definitely going to put this on my fb page for others to learn about the history of Mt Eden/Mt Albert Auckland.. Thank you

  3. Thanks folks for the feedback. I'm quietly delighted (well, quietly as in I'm telling people "Oh! Look at this!!" here on the blog and on fb ...) that it has turned out so well. The Albert-Eden Local Board are to be commended highly for supporting the project, and seeing it come to fruition in time for the Heritage Festival. The firm who put it together did a fabulous job, and we had a lot of help from Auckland Library, the Auckland War Memorial Museum Library, the Well Connected Alliance for the SH20 shots, Auckland Council Archives, and Graham Stewart and his marvellous images. It was all just -- something utterly cool to be involved with. Hope other areas do something similar.
