Henry Ah Kew wqas a lawyer of the Supremem Court of Auckland 1940-60 having a son Brian who was succesful in his endeavours. The land spoken of at mangere is probably the Mangere cemetery. Many Chinese originated from the the Snowy mountains where they were part of Gold Rush days.
