Thanks for your comment, Robert. We Aucklanders have fingers crossed for a return of something like a tram system to Downtown Auckland, connecting with new waterfront revitalisation developments and parks. The Christchurch tram loop, though, is a wonderful thing.

ReplyDeleteI see that LRTC drew up a plan for light rail in Auckland back in 1989? What a pity it didn't go ahead, then.
