My G Granparents Emma [nee ARBUCKLE] and Robert JOHNSTON married here on 19 November 1910 - i passed it often and was proud of the connection, like so many other connections i had with local churches... i'm just devastated about everything we've lost :((((
xxx hugs L ... it's all so surreal still. It will sink in bit by bit. Attended the memorial service at Auckland War Memorial Museum tonight...it was beautiful - and of course i cried AGAIN! You could tell by the depth of sobbing who had been through it... it was bizarre...real wrenching from the heart. Some pics
