Appendix to the Journals of the House of Representatives online

I was told about this just today: the National Library have put the first two decades of the AJHRs, 1860s and 1870s, online and (like Papers Past) they are keyword searchable.

AtoJs Online.

Enjoy.

  1. Good one, I hadn't picked up on that one.

Now have Vincent Pikes first report on the Otago Gold fields in 1863 and the Gold Fields Statistics for the year the Pastoral Lease your looked up for me would have first appeared.

Noticed in passing several mentions of the HMS Orpheus and a electoral petition from West Auckland in the contents section amongst other things.

Lots of good stuff to get side tracked on, which I have.

  2. Very easy to get side-tracked with this stuff, I agree, Trevor! Prize find for me the first night was locating an 1870s flax commission report. Very useful for Henderson's Mill.
